Esha Deol Biography

Esha is the eldest daughter of Dharmendra and Hema Malini. She is part AryaSamaji, Punjabi (Sikh) and part Hindu-Tamil. She is the half-sister of Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol.Besides working in movies, Esha is an accomplished Bharatanatyam and Odissi dancer and National Level football player. She speaks Tamil fluently with her mother Hema Malini and sister Ahana Deol.

Esha's portrayal of a notorious and vengeful ghost in Ram Gopal Verma's Darling (2007) was praised all over and applauded with positive reviews. Taran Adarsh from indiaFM noted that, " Esha Deol is excellent in a role that’s nothing short of a challenge. It would’ve boomeranged had it been entrusted to any inferior actor, but Esha is in terrific form here. This should be the turning point in her career. "

Diya Mirza Biographhy

Her father Frank Handrich was a German interior designer from Munich and her mother is Deepa Mirza, a Bengali. They separated when she was six years old. Her father died when she was nine and her mother remarried: Ahmed Mirza whose surname she took, died in 2004.

She stated that she suffered from "low self-esteem" as a child. She retained a Muslim name (Mirza). When living in Khairatabad, Hyderabad, she attended Vidyaranya High School For Boys And Girls, a school based on the teachings of Jiddu Krishnamurti, and later Nasr School, in Kushnuma.

Currently, she lives in Bandra, Mumbai. To brush up on acting before Shootout at Lokhandwala, she took a one week course of Film at New York University
